It takes less than half an hour to drive from Hotel Maier to the well-known Ravensburger Spieleland - one of the most popular destinations for family vacations at Lake Constance. 70 attractions await families with children between the ages of 2 and 12 here in eight themed worlds. Craftsmanship and teamwork are in demand, for example, in the wheel-changing challenge, and children can make their own favorite chocolate in the chocolate workshop. The theme park's participatory concept: learning new things together through play and having fun.

ADVENTURE PARK IMMENSTAAD: CLIMBING EXPERIENCE EVERYWHERE
It is really only a stone's throw from Hotel Maier to the Immenstaad Adventure Park. It is one of the most beautiful climbing destinations on Lake Constance. On 11 different trails there are countless climbing possibilities for every taste and age. There are two new kids trails for children from 3 years with a total of 30 stations. Monkey Mountain Salem: AN ANIMAL PLEASURE
The Monkey Mountain near Salem is the stage for a very special "monkey theater". On the 20-hectare open-air area without barriers and bars, around 200 Barbary macaques jump around happily. The endangered primate species is actually at home in the mountain regions of Morocco and Algeria. But our animal relatives also feel extremely at home at Lake Constance because of its mild climate. As a visitor, you are right in the middle of the animals. Another impressive sight is the free-flying stork colony, as every year around 50 pairs of storks breed on the Monkey Mountain - an unforgettable experience!
WILD AND THEME PARK ALLENSBACH: WILD ANIMALS NEARBY
In the outdoor enclosures of the 75-hectare park on the western side of Lake Constance, you can get very close to over 300 wild animals. Among them are ibexes, bears, deer and lynxes. The "Green Classroom" also features a wild bee hotel and a large herb spiral. The Nautic Jet is a fun way to jump into the water from a height of eight meters. Or in the high-flyer, which turns turbulent laps. The "nimble fountains" provide cooling when it's hot. CORN LABYRINTH
It takes only 30 minutes to drive to the corn labyrinth at Erlebnishof Gut Hügle. A two-kilometer-long path was cut into a cornfield as big as two soccer fields. Depending on your sense of orientation, you should allow about 30 to 60 minutes for the maze experience. A great destination for a holiday with children at Lake Constance, especially with good weather.
